Panhandle Butterfly House
The Panhandle Butterfly House is having an open house this weekend. They will be open from 10-3 on the 10th, 11th, and 12th. They will be closed for the winter, so this is a last chance to visit this year. Fall is butterfly migratory time for the panhandle, including the monarch butterfly which they will be tagging at the event. Lincoln Park Date in Question
Hi all, I am going to be out of town tomorrow so will miss getting to go to Lincoln Park. I have not gotten ahold of campjulia to see if she was planning to make it, either. So, I do not know if anyone will be there. If you plan to go no matter, then post a reply and I will check and try to pass the word on to campjulia. Sorry! Wanting to Start a Couple of Groups
I am interested in starting a couple of groups. Let me know if you have any interest in either of them. 1. A geography type group - This could be done a few different ways. Families could study different countries and then get together to discuss what they learned. A country/region could be picked for the group to study and each family could take a different time period in its history. Or we can all study the same country at the time that we get together. 2. The Landing, Thurs. Sept 25th
